Explore Abstracts on YUPO®!
Get creative and discover the possibilities of abstraction on YUPO® paper with Jodi Ohl! Whether or not you’ve worked on YUPO® paper before, Abstract Painting on YUPO® will give you exciting insights about the special effects you can create in your artwork, and how to mix and match those effects to create complex-looking abstract compositions. After a review about how your supplies work on the unique surface, Jodi will guide you, and student Cherie Haas, through the creation of 3 abstract paintings that focus on different features of abstract art: color, contrast, line, pattern, and more.
In this video you will:
- Experiment with special effects on YUPO®.
- Create 3 abstract paintings from start to finish.
- Consider color, line and shapes in your compositions.
- Create visual texture with layers of paint and marks.
- Use pattern and contrast in controlled ways.
