Description
Flowers from your imagination are the most beautiful kind!
If you want to paint from your imagination, without a reference photo, but aren’t sure where to begin, Sandrine Pelissier’s painting techniques will show you the way. In the video download Painting Flowers from Imagination, Sandrine will teach you, and student Amy Jones, how to paint a loose, abstract background that will pave the way for your imagination to take over and paint flowers not found in nature. A simple negative painting technique will isolate your composition and allow you to add variety and complexity with glazes and pattern drawing.
In this video download you will:
- Mount YUPO paper to a cradled wood board.
- Create abstract backgrounds on YUPO paper and canvas.
- Learn to use this technique with fluid acrylics or watercolor paint.
- Use negative painting to create your composition.
- Try pattern drawing with a dip pen.
- Protect your painting with a varnish.
