Based on her popular “15 Minutes of Mixed Media” series, this video offers four sections of art journaling prompts that will encourage you to get to know your art supplies and the many ways you can use them. Rae will guide you through exercises in color, texture, dimension, and detail, all of which can be used in your art journals or other mixed media projects!

About the Artist
Rae Missigman is a self-taught mixed-media artist who loves to create, blog, and instruct. She has a fondness for both pattern and color, which has led her to create outside the lines, resulting in artwork that is both busy and polychromatic. Rae offers both online and in-person classes. She is a designer for StencilGirl Products and designs her own stamps. You can find Rae’s work in numerous art publications including Cloth Paper Scissors, as well as on her website, RaeMissigman.com.

- Acrylic glazing liquid
- Acrylic inks
- Assorted acrylic paints – including heavy body and fluid
- Assorted permanent markers and pens
- China Markers
- Derwent Inktense blocks
- Faber-Castell Glaze
- Gesso
- Glue stick or gel medium
- Modeling paste or Faber-Castell Spackle
- Paint markers
- Watercolor paint

- 1″ chip brush
- Brayer
- Clear wax crayon
- Collage paper
- Heat tool (optional)
- Hole punch (Rae uses a Crop-o-Dile)
- Makeup wedges
- Manufactured gelatin printing plate
