Description
Beautiful art is just a layer away!
In Building Beautiful Layers, you’ll discover Rae Missigman’s easy-to-follow process for creating bold, heavily-detailed, and multi-layered abstract art. You’ll begin by using a gelatin printing plate and upcycled tools to create a stash of monoprinted collage papers. Rae will then guide you through the painting process starting with organic drips of acrylic ink. After building layers of paint, collage papers, and texture paste, you’ll then move on to mark making where you’ll develop your own signature marks using a variety of pens and markers!
In this video you will:
- Create an abstract painting from start to finish.
- Try monoprinting with a gelatin plate.
- Find your own signature marks.
- Experiment with paint pens, gel pens, metallic pens, and more.
